Dear Family,
Mitchell's flight plans! Ahhhh! I can't believe it. So crazy. Aleksi, keep me updated. (my letter got there so fast!) Cassie, the beach looks so beautiful! When you're about to leave for the last time - don't - and jump in one more time for me. Summer. I sent five emails of photos. Lunch with a the member who cleans all the church buildings in our area. Elder Cayoja on his birthday, 24! whoo! Familia Vargas, who made a HUGE delicious once and (my favorite) tres leches - my FIRST in Chile - to celebrate both of our birthdays. It was delicious. And today, with our district (six missionaries) we made empanadas with a member, Hermano Julio, in Rio Bueno. Fried empanadas with beef and onions. Our empanadas are way better, don't worry mom! On September 18th (Chilean Independence), that's all we'll eat - all day! I can hardly wait.
I'm glad you're all doing well. I miss you all a lot.
Love,
Elder Poirier
PS. Everytime I hear a bell tower ring I say silently, "Harry, I think it's Christmas Eve." or "Harry, I think there's someone staring at us over by the church." Mitchell - in about 2 months - YOU'LL UNDERSTAND THESE QUOTES!!!!!
