Rett who do you want to speak at your baptism.
"Max."
Awesome, because I love speaking and all.
"Max, don't embarrass us."
Vomit.
No,
it wasn't that bad - I mean,
Short and simple.
I just get so nervous.
And my mouth gets so dry.
But I did it.
Only for you Rett.
Mostly I just added stuff to what Mormon.org says about baptism.
I wanted Rett to understand what I was saying,
not quite sure about that one though.
And stupid me for not taking a photo of Rett dressed in white.
Dumb.
But right after the baptism,
their stake had the Boy Scout Pine Wood Derby.
Whoo.
Now for those family photos:
Rita...
Almost Rye Rye.
There we go.
Love those Schnyders.
The Pine Wood Derby.
The biggest day in Boy Scouts.
I would know.
This was me after ever race:
Face swollen pink from crying,
full of disappointment.
I always lost.
Haha,
those were tough days.
Not for Rett though,
how could not coming in first feel bad when you have a Harry Potter car?
It can't.
and yes he did.
HP for life.
Go Rett!
Go Harry!
Good for Rett for composing himself after a loss.
I know I couldn't,
clearly.
Every kid wants to win a few.
None of that really matters though.
Rett was baptized today.
That's where we really win.
Life is a real track and the gospel helps us navigate through it with peace and joy.
So proud Rett.

Such an awesome family and SUCH an awesome HP car
ReplyDeleteahahahahahaha the first family photo, rye is looking in the COMPLETE wrong direction.
ReplyDeleterye rye looks so funny in those pictures, like he is about to cry. cute.
ReplyDeleteRye Rye WAS crying in those pictures! Apparently we can not have a family picture taken without someone having a meltdown!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great day, despite the weather, the wrong address, the complete chaos in the building, the no program, my children getting distracted by the bounce house in the gym, my red eye, not being invited to Taylor Swift, no photo of Rett and Joey dressed in white,...but having you guys there and some Mochi, er, Menchi made it great!
