There is such thing as Magic.

The Sniders.
Alexa.
Myself.
Rett's 8th birthday.
Disney.
My camera.
A perfect combination for adventure.

Alexa and I met at the Snider's Thursday night.
They're too good to me, I know.
Friday,
the kids ditched school and Joey and Eva surprised them with
Chik-fil-a breakfast and an entire day at the Disney Parks in honor of Rett's birthday.
Eight years old!
Whoop, whoop.
Birthday dance.
Yes,
all while Alexa and I played pokemon cards and waited in the car.
PSYCH!
You. wish.

We started the day at Epcot
and made our way into the Magic Kingdom aka the happiest place on earth.

 [First family photo]
Getting Brett that birthday pin was our first priority.
I mean Brent.
Ahh!
I mean Ratt!
Yes, Ratt was turning eight and it was time to celebrate.
Happy birthday Ratt.
Hey Ratt, love the shirt.
Oh Ratt, you're so funny.
Ratt, you're so mouse-like.
Ratt.
 Disney,
let the memories begin.
Jungle Cruise.
Pirates.
Haunted Mansion,
always a favorite.
Alice's mad tea party.
Thunder Mountain.
Splash Mountain.
Space Mountain.
We got around.

 [Eva's photobomb]

Peterpan.
Small World.
[for some reason it's Alexa's favorite...]
Mickey's PhilharMagic.
[another personal favorite]
 Tomorrowland Speedway,
Birthday boy Ratt waited for this one all morning.

 Alexa drove our vehicle.
Somehow I survived to tell the tale.
No seriously.
s c a r y

 I mean,
we are the same.
Things like this don't just happen:

Emree was the fantastic driver in front of us.

 [d'aww.]
People mover.
Buzz Lightyear.
For the record, Eva did come in first.
Joey may have been second but his score was docked at the last moment,
meaning yours truely took that second place spot.
All that's really important is how I beat Alexa,
[now we know who the better star commander is in this relationship]
aka me.

Have you ever seen a cuter baby?
Didn't think so.
[that was referencing the above photo...awkward]
Below is a princess wanna-be.

Everybody loves dumbo.
...and I'll tell yah who looks like a real dumbo,
Only joking,
don't worry Alexa - you look completely normal.

and again,
so normal.

Thunder Mountain one last time.
And look who put their hands up.
Emree and Ratt.
Eight years old and doing all sorts of crazy things now.

 Farewell Magic Kingdom.
Wait,
before we go,
one Pineapple juice with vanilla ice-cream por favor.
So refreshing.
Okay.
Now we can go.

I know, I know.
You guys are too predictable.
We already know what you're going to say,
we know,
we're models.

  Goodbye Magic Kingdom.
Goodbye Cinderella's castle.
Goodbye Woody.
Goodbye Jane.
Goodbye Mickey.
Goodbye cute brown haired very happy looking Umpa-Lumpa holding the welcome sign.
I'll miss you all.
Back to Epcot.
We end where we begin.
I open at the close.

I'm sorry,
did no one tell you?
Eva's a model for "Modern Hip Mom Magazine,"
I can't believe you didn't know.
Back at Epcot we rode Alexa's new favorite,
Soarin'
Those scenes and scents.
Man.
Just makes you want to go out and hike a mountain and swim in the ocean and fly in a hot air balloon.
We got drenched in the rain during Fast Track,
I literally thought we were going to die.
Alexa looked like she had just fallen off a Hippogriff.
Forgive me for not taking a photo of that.

 The aquarium with Nemo,
loved it.

 An adventure we sought.
An adventure we found.
Long live magic.
