Sadly,
this is what my life has come to.
Alright.
Here's the background story.
Eva [and all the kids] were at the mall,
bellies full with the world's best: Mochi
[now in Orlando, say what?!]
"Max, want to see something freaky?"
"Uh. Okay?"
Freaky they were.
I'm not sure how many live mannequins I've ever seen in my life,
but seeing these four gave me the creeps.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen,
stone faces,
modelling clothes,
standing as still as statues,
were four live mannequins.
"Max, I dare you to try and make them laugh --- dance for them."
"Oh - that's - uh - aye - okay."
Bam.
And here it is:
People gathered round.
Cell phones were pulled out.
I think I even saw a mall security cop.
Only one mannequin cracked a smile,
but she quickly regained her stone like posture and stopped moving.
Goal achieved.
We left.
Simple thrills,
that's how I get by.

My life is now made.
