Face in the sun,
feet in the sand,
swimming in the ocean.
This is the life.
swimming in the ocean.
This is the life.
We went out to the sandbar today with the Futos.
It's Cassie's last weekend before school starts,
and Chelsea leaves for college Thursday,
aka summer is basically over.
I know,
that happened really fast.
We explored Bird Island.
Whoever found the greatest sea creature throughout the day won.
Clayton found a baby horseshoe crab.
So he won.
It was so tiny.
How did he even see it?!
Publix subs on the beach.
Food always makes the day better.
It was a perfect sandbar day.
Sunshine.
Lots of creatures to catch.
Salty water.
Warm.
Funny people.
Prehistoric spider crab.
[I made that up]
But seriously,
What?
It's all fun and games until someone has to go caca.
Clayton...
[Just in case you're wondering,
he was too embarrassed and did the environmentally safe thing and held it]
Thought I'd clear that up.
Carson is hilarious.
He talks a ton,
and even though it's mostly his random stream of thoughts,
they're funny.
For real.
Like when he was asked if he could swim the length of the pool in one breath,
he replied, "I'm only eight!"
I'm sorry,
that's funny.
Back to our house.
Swimming in the pool.
Pizza and garlic knots.
Chesney.
This is my life.

fun, fun.
