Today I turned 19.
"Happy Birthday Harry"
[Hopefully you read that in an English accent - if not, read it again]
Chesney's happy that I'm home,
so much so that she slept on my bed for a straight ten hours.
That's cute right?
It's been raining all day.
I love it, I do,
but it couldn't have come at a more inconvenient time.
Today was the last ever shuttle launch.
There was a 70% chance that it wasn't going to launch.
Seventy Percent,
meaning a thirty percent chance it would launch.
So we didn't go.
Much to my displeasure,
it launched.
The last shuttle.
On my birthday.
and I missed it.
Vahmit.
As a plan B,
we were going to snorkel.
But considering the weather, we decided to stay home.
I guess there's nothing more me than taking photos in the rain.
19, yeah!
Becca came by and dropped off a birthday card.
That was a pleasant surprise.
[Thanks neighbor]
It is dawning on my that the LAST ever Harry Potter movie is now less than a week away.
[Deep breaths, deep breaths]
I don't know - I can't even - oh my gosh.
I'm going to be a mess.
Just look how far we've come:
So sad,
yet so incredible.
Well, more about my oncoming depression later.
We went to the Food Shack in Jupiter for my birthday dinner.
We waited and waited to be seated,
long story short - the waitress made a mistake, lots of people came after us and were seated before us,
mom got mad, and we ended up getting free desserts!
Whoo.
It paid off, I suppose.
Dinner was brilliant.
Angelhair pasta crusted Wahoo over a salad.
I know, I've never heard of it either.
and that free Simple Fudge pie was right up my alley.
Everything tastes better when it's free.
*Oh, no photos please - Chris, people are starting to stare*
[Cassie's Samantha James impersonation]
A thank you to my family for making this day a little more special,
Nineteen, yeyuh!
My last year as a teenager.

Everything Chesney does is cute. Of course, any other day you would be obsessed with the rain, but today it messed everything up! But yay, free desserts! It could never be as good as the cake Hagrid would've made you, though :/ Happy Birthday Max.
