Our good family invited us over for dinner tonight.
We stayed with them most of our trip to Utah last year,
[Much thanks]
and we're glad we got to see them again tonight.
Ruby used to never let anyone hold her,
not even hug her.
It took Aleksi eleven months for Ruby to start warming up to her;
it took Cassie eleven minutes.
When you've got it,
you've got it
and apparently Cassie has it.
Coleman has braces!
He's officially a preteen - like Sid from Toy Story.
Almost identical, right.
They're getting so big.
Tank too.
He gets bigger and more intimidating with each visit.
Claire is such a little model;
she'd act like she didn't want me to take her photos,
but then she'd smile and/or pose on time.
Dinner was excellent.
Brian's ribs.
Tillia's strawberry romaine salad.
Sweet corn.
Butter toasted garlic bread.
A perfect pre-independence day celebratory meal.
There's no better way to spend the day before the fourth of July
than with family, a good meal, and sparklers.
Always sparklers.
Lots and lots of sparklers.
We enjoyed the beautiful Utah evening outside,
finished the sparklers, and went inside to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Not a bad movie,
good actually and funny.
[It's all fun and games until someone steps in dog caca]
Yep.
The Mount Timpanogos Temple from the Krallis' balcony.
An incredible view by the way.
Evelyn and Leland loved Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
"Oh watch this part, it's so funny."
"Watch what he's going to wear, it's so embarrassing."
"Oh this part is so sad!"
It was good, I always knew when to expect something funny or sad.
Never had to caught off guard.
We ended the night by watching all the
early-bird-but-not-really-because-you've-been-doing-them-all-weekend-fireworks
off the balcony.
Glorious.
Thanks again Krallis family.
