Seven reasons why I love my mom

Me: Seven Harry Potter books - it's the most magical number]
 We celebrated Mother's Day with a fantastic dinner made by dad.

1. She birthed me, even though I was the "accident" of the family.
2. I realize that she's the reason I have a passion for photography.
I go upstairs to look at photos sometimes, and we have boxes and boxes of photos.
I remember being a kid - during Christmas or Easter and she'd say "just one more -- smile"
and we'd sit there and smile as she photographed us.
3. She taught me to be creative.
Aka the six scrap books I have sitting in my room.

4. She gave me my three best friends.
5. She taught me to work hard and always try my best.
Generic - but I remember if I didn't do well on something, she would ask,
"well did you try your best"
and if I said "yes" she would say "okay, well you tried your best and sometimes that's all you can do."
and if I said "no" --- she's really good at making you feel guilty.
6. She brought my family into the gospel, and for that I'm forever grateful.
7. She truly has the heart of the ocean.
She's compassionate, charitable, and lovely.
