This is Us

One of my favorite rolls of film.
Can't put my finger on it, but something about it makes me really smile.
It was taken with my retro underwater camera, bought at CVS.
I started this film over spring break.
Thinking about the beach, being home, summer - all make me really excited to finish school.
I'm going home!

Kados over spring break
The water was freezing.
Neither Cassie nor Chris would go in the water with me,
but I think it's a sin to go to the beach and not go in the water, no matter how cold it is.

I really like this photo.
It's just -- simple.

I think I tried to take a photo of myself?
[I had to! Chris and Cassie wouldn't come snorkeling]

Coral Cove.
Chris finally went in the water.
I wish things could be now like they were then.
Just simpler.

There were jelly fish all over the shore line,
so naturally Chris picked one up.

Harry Potter World slash Universal with Alexa.
Such a fun day.
Had our season passes, packed our lunches, and used Joey's parking pass.
So we spent a grand total of zero dollars.
And that's how you do it.

If the flash was strong enough - you would see the T-Rex on the Jurassic Park ride.
This camera is the best.
It captures in all the places my digital can't.

Rip Tide Rocket.
You go straight up - that's 90 degrees vertically, pick out your favorite song,
and dance.
Alexa was a little nervous to ride it, but after a fit, decided it wouldn't be so bad.
Such a thrilling ride.

The Jaws Journey.
After seeing Soul Surfer with my girl Bethany Hamilton,
these photos take on a whole new meaning.
I feel like I was on my surf board right next to her, documenting the shark attack.
[maybe that's why I like this film so much]
Team Bethany.

Dr. Doom's at night was rad.
Taking photos on Dr. Doom was risky and possibly dangerous,
but worth it.
I mean, just look at those faces.

Okay, I'm pretty sure this is her blog debut,
her first official photo on my blog.
She's been with me almost everyday of this week as we locked ourselves in the library
to study and work.
We probably did more laughing and making up jokes though.
[We did get our work done - sheesh]
It's be fun, Jen.
