I saw Soul Surfer tonight.
All week I've had a very oceanic themed vocabulary,
to set the scene for the movie, of course.
Rip Curl.
Dolphin.
Salt.
Shred.
Mermaid.
I was stoked, alright.
The movie was greater than I anticipated.
I mean - of course - I would have liked it either way,
cheesy or not - but it was genuinely a good movie.
It had the perfect amount of drama, sadness, and joy
and had a good inspirational message.
I suppose it helped that Anasophia Robb is slightly very attractive.
I really loved all of the scenic shots,
it really made me want to go to Hawaii and surf.
Yes, I'm admitting it - Aleksi, if Mitchell could hear me speak - oh what he'd say.
Me and Mitchell always used to rag on Aleksi for wanting to be this surfer girl,
but after this movie - I'm right with her, I want to learn to surf
and I want to hug the ocean.
So beautiful.
I also really liked how tight knit her family was,
reminded me of my family.
How her siblings are her best friends
and her parents always believed in her.
Gosh, I miss them.
I can't wait until we're all reunited again.
This movie just made me want to be better - in every aspect.
a better friend.
a better son.
a better me.
"I don't need easy, I just need possible"
The real Bethany Hamilton and Annasophia Robb.
[My new inspirations]

I can't wait to see it :)
