Disposable Camera

I love film.
There's just something about it,
that's so not-digital.
I think it's because it's not my primary way of taking photos,
or because you can't see the photos right away
that makes it special.
Back when I tried to have a camera on me all the time
[it was really difficult]
I bought this disposable camera.
Let's see, I started taking photos the first day of the second semester,
so four months ago?

My favorite road on campus.
Only because it reminds me of the road in HP7 Part I, after Hermione obliviates her parents
and walks outside onto a long road towards some buildings.
[which equates to Turlington Plaza and the Century Bell Tower in my life]

Norman Hall.
The building where my Pre-Calc class was last semester.
I hated this class - I had to study so much,
come to find out - after talking with my adviser,
I didn't even have to take it, because I already had credit.
Love college.

The Institute building.
Surprisingly, I kind of liked Institute here.
It grows on you.

A nice, big campus tree.
It just caught my eye - with all it's branches.

The one random morning Kate and I went to IHOP.
Why did we do this?
Must've been a stressful week - or we were getting ready for a stressful week.
I don't even remember.

The night Carla, Fabi, Pia, and Angelica threw a Taco Fiesta.
Sombreros. Tacos. Dancing. Music. Pinata.
Good night.

I had to document the place where I get most of my work done.
Library West.
Third Floor.
No talking.
Won't be sad not to come back here for a while.

That time Hannah and I stayed up really late slash woke up super early,
studying for our psych exam.
We're both easily distracted - so it was not a terribly productive night,
but a good memory nonetheless.

Lake Wauberg.
Yes, we did it.
Kate, Alexa, and I went to Lake Wauberg to experience Gainesville's finest for ourselves.
and - I'm not being snarky - it was fun,
I enjoyed myself.
We canoed, sang, soaked up some sun, ate our packed lunches, and sang some more.

It turns out we don't know the words to as many Glee songs as we thought.
Although, we belted out to "Dog Days are Over" and we did know all the words to that one,
hitting all the right notes on the other hand, didn't matter so much.

Not exactly sure about this one,
Either it's my alien abduction or a photo of a dream I had about Voldemort.

My photo wall.
Sad that I'm going to have to take it down one of these days.
[Harry Potter Posters and Pottery]
Sorry Neil, I've basically taken over that side of the room.

Adults Max and Alexa out to eat
[Alexa's treat]
at PF Changs in Orlando, before going to see Elder Bednar.
Alexa: remember how we grabbed tons of those fortune cookies?
and how they fed us: then, at HP World, when we were lost, and our drive home?
We're such adults.

At Eva's with Alexa,
the morning before we went to Harry Potter World and Universal.
RyeRye being RyeRye.
Love those kids.

The best moment of my wizarding life.
When I was asked to go explore Hogwarts and save Dumbledore's mom.
No, but I was asked to ride single rider with grandma.
and I got to use an elevator and walk in a hallway in the castle.
best.moment.ever.
I was so excited, okay.
I tried to take of photo of my feet jumping in the air, with the hallway showing -- not how I pictured it,
but oh well.
and grandma!
She was great.

Good memories.

  3. Seriously, these are great. Oh, and that's definitely a photo of a dream about Voldemort, no question.
