Elder Bednar

This weekend  the Apostle Elder Bednar 

came to Orlando to speak to the Young Adults. 

This was such a rare opportunity, I'm glad I took advantage of it.

Our church is led by a living prophet

and organized below him are twelve apostles.

All church service positions are just that - service positions. 

No one is paid. 

It was really neat to see him in person, 

I'm so used to watching him on t.v. for General Conference 

[a broadcasted conference where the leaders of the church speak to the members]

It was like 3D.

He spoke in the church building across the street from the temple. 

So before he spoke Alexa and I walked over and took some photos. 

[of the temple obviously - each photo was a different shot, I just stood in the same place]

Alexa came with me to hear Elder Bednar speak 

[and we planned on going to Harry Potter world the next day]

The meeting was more of a Q&A. 

Elder Bednar allowed us to ask mature questions about the gospel. 

I felt the questions asked were very appropriate 

and a lot were questions that pertained to my life and serving a mission.

He gave really good, specific answers that helped me.

Alexa and I got totally lost in Orlando, trying to get on I4 to get on the turnpike.
We ended up on some random road that took us to the exit before Eva's on the turnpike.
It was a thrilling adventure.

and I'm really glad we went.
