Winter is a Beach.

The ocean water gets SO cold in December. 

But I'll swim in it any day. 

It's so refreshing. 

Today Aleksi, Dorothy, Teresa, me and Cassie all went to Refuge beach. 

[after Aleksi got her ear's drained] 

She's been deaf for almost the past few months and finally decided to get her ears checked. 

Long and gross story short [sorry Aleksi] 

her ears had chunks and pools of wax build up. 

We still love her though.

It was too gorgeous of a day to not spend it at the beach. 

So after leaving the Urgent Care we went. 

Only Dorothy and I were brave enough to go in the water. 

[Aleksi went in - kind of - later] 

but seriously, they call themselves Gryffindors. 

Please. 

Ice.Cold. 

I told them how I outlined Cassie's body in shells the last time I went to the beach. 

Bad idea. 

"Outline us" 

"all together" 

We had to go on a walk and collect thousands of shells to make it work. 

and then find a clear spot so they could all lay down. 

It took a super long time, and mostly you can't even tell they're 

outlined by shells. 

but whatever. 

I took a polaroid with Dorothy's mini-polaroid and it came out cool. 

I've still been thinking about my next theme for my next roll of polaroid film. 

I'm just excited that they won't all come out super dark now.

It really was such a beautiful day. 

I love winter break. 

I don't have to worry about papers, or homework, or any class. 

What a feeling.

 Meanwhile, Cassie got to relax and listen to music.
