Thanksgiving Eve.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve. 

Today was quite the uneventful day - oh the things I miss about being home. 

I woke up kind of late and thus missed the chance to go to the beach with my peeps
[sorry]
Aha, so instead I got to spend the day with the next best thing.

I know, who am I kidding.
She's the first best thing.
We went to the beach expecting to get burnt - or at least a little sun.
But because we both woke up so late - we missed the sun - so we ended up doing the Poirier norm.
Dancing and singing - running around, taking photos - that is.

Did I mention I miss black and white.
because I do.
Then we thought of the idea - to take "model" photos of each other - and planned that I would photoshop them together and send them to Aleksi and Mitchell as if they were our Christmas card.
It sounds dumb now - but at the time - it seemed like a funny idea.
Guess you had to be there.

Yeah, you definitely had to be there.
Because it's almost Thanksgiving:
Things I was grateful for today. 
1. I'm grateful that Cassie lets me take so many photos of her.
[and as payback - today I let her take some of me]

2. I'm grateful for the photo above and all the laughter it brings into my life.
3. I'm thankful for the beach  and for beautiful days like today.
4. I'm grateful for parents that somehow managed to make us four all best friends.

5. I'm thankful for music and the happiness it brings me.
6. I'm thankful for my camera.

7. I'm grateful for the memories I'm making.
8. I'm grateful for my home.
9. I'm thankful for my sister[s] and the odd sense of humor we share.

10. I'm thankful for my dogs.
[they get more and more spoiled everyday]

10. And I'm grateful that I live in a place where it's completely normal to go to the beach in November.
