My Sweet Escape.

Have I mentioned lately how much of love the Snider family. 

I love the Snider family - a lot.

Things about their family that makes me happy:
1. They have the same birth order - Aleksi, Mitchell, Me, Cassie = Emree, Rett, Rye, Rita.
2. Emree and Aleksi are equally bossy.
[Yes, Emree is bossy to me - aha]
"We're playing outside when your done with your homework"
"Yes, ma'am"
3. Their house is beautiful
4. The like Harry Potter [and Glee songs]
5. Eva cooks - and bakes - and cleans - and runs - she's basically super woman.

I got to spend my weekend with them [again]
I'm so grateful.
College can get pretty hectic and stressful
and it's nice to have a place of refuge,
a home away from home.
A sweet escape.

  

 I got there Friday evening.
The weather was beautiful so we played outside for a bit.

Favorite Quotes over the weekend.
1. Me, Emree, Rett and Rye were playing Life [the board game] and Emree said,
"I love playing by myself - because then you get to pick what house you want and what job you get and it's not cheating"
2. I was doing homework upstairs and Eva was sewing an apron for a friend and Rita kept coming up to me - so I would pick her up - and then she would hit my key board so I would put her back down. Then Eva said,
Eva: "Give her a piece of tape"
Me: "Really? Tape?"
Eva: "Yeah"
So I gave Rita a piece of tape - put it in her hands and she sat down and started playing with it.
Eva: "Dumb babies, give them a piece of tape and it entertains them"

3. [Not a Quote] In the jumping photo above, I would just like to say - that I did not kick Emree in the face, it just looks like I did --- perfectly.

 

4.  After Watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Rett said to me, "I want to play Harry Potter"
and Emree replied, "No offense Max, but it wouldn't be as fun if you played it compared to when Mitchell played it. He was better."
Needless to say, we didn't end up playing it.

5.[Before I left]
Me [In an English accent]: "Harry, Hermione - I have to get to detention or else Snape is going to make me write a really long evaluation on the usages of mole skin"
Emree: "What? Are we playing?"
Me: "Playing? What are you talking about, I'm going to be late"
Rett: "Wait, am I Harry?"

6. Emree quoted Glee and it made me really happy.
"Might as well JUMP!"

7. Eva - "Rye, what do you want for your birthday?"
Rye - "A car, a boat, a gas station ... toy"
