Tuesday Night Group.

Club: Tuesday Night Group

Definition: On Tuesday nights Kate, Brittany, and I meet at Cynthia's for our Tuesday tradition: 

Watching Glee. 

Except - this Tuesday - there was no Glee [upsetting]

Instead we celebrated Brittany's birthday [not upsetting]

It's tomorrow.

Cynthia was the chef tonight - and a real good one too. 

She made the pumpkin waffles and a yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

Since it's October, Cynthia and Brittany thought it was only appropriate that we have pumpkin waffles.

and I thought it would be fun to carve a pumpkin 

[worst idea of the night]

no, I'm just kidding, it was fun too.

Of course before we started carving the pumpkin, we named him [it just looked like a boy].
Because it was Brittany's birthday celebration, she got to pick the name - and she chose Otis.

We each took a part in the creation of Otis, the pumpkin.

• Top carving - Me [I know, you don't have to tell me - I did such a good job]
• Left eye - birthday girl Brittany [it's supposed to be a "wink" if you couldn't tell]
• Right eye? or at least I think that's what that thing is - Jonathan 
• Upside down ugly heart nose - Cynthia [greaaat job Cyndii - it looks... i'm lost for words.]
• Crooked smile - Kate [good try]

Because I carved my first pumpkin last year [thanks Reagan] I had the most recent experience so I took over the carving part of Otis.

and he looks good all carved out and all, if I do say so myself.

Just looks at that perfectly carved face.

I met Brittany at my first Tuesday night Glee meeting. 

Things I know about Brittany: 

1. She likes Glee - just as much as I do - I know right? --crazy. 

2. She knows all the Glee characters real names, how they got famous, and where they are from. 

[Ok, that's impressive - she's a BIGGER Glee fan than I am!]
3. Her dog's name is June
[she barked at me once - and now can sense my fear every time she sees me]

4. She is a Class-A stalker - or as she likes to call it - "lurker"

5. She likes pumpkin flavored waffles.

Kate really liked Otis.
I'm just glad I finally made a friend - even if it's a pumpkin.

Funny Story:
After cake, we wanted to take a "Tuesday Night Group" picture.
We were all posing around June, and then Brittany put her hands on mine and Cynthia's back
and started scratching us - as if she was scratching June.
I just looked at Cynthia thinking, "umm, I know it's her birthday but..."
then Brittany realized that what she was doing was awkward - and we all started laughing.

It's okay Brittany - it's your Birthday, so you can get away with stuff like that.
