The Truth

The Truth is:

College isn't everything I was told it would be.
College isn't fun.
College is stressful.
College is REALLY stressful.
College shouldn't be this stressful, not yet at least.
I hate my classes
but most of all,
I hate pre-calc and
I hate psychology.
I've taken 3 psych quizzes and have received the same grade on all of them
The first, I didn't study very much because I didn't know what to expect
The second, I studied a lot, made flash cards, and read the chapter
and the third I made flash cards, wrote notes, did the review for the chapter, typed my notes,
skipped a class to reread parts of the chapter
and I still got the same, dumb grade
I HATE psychology
I hate that everyone around me is enjoying college
enjoying their classes
and enjoying their freedom
I'm not
I feel like it never ends, there's always more to do.
Always a psych chapter to read
always, a-l-w-a-y-s math homework to do.
I can't get ahead.
ever.

  1. You're right, college SHOULDN'T be this stressful, at least not this soon. Don't forget that there are a million services on campus that are free (and by free I mean you had to pay an activity fee so you might as well use them) at the Student Health Care Center and the Counseling and Wellness Center. The Wellness Center has TONS of groups, many of them dealing with stress/anxiety related to school.

Most importantly, remember that not only do you have friends/family that care, but you have a whole entire ward to support you too, even if you never talk to a single soul. You have priesthood leaders and home teachers who can give you a blessing too.

    Love you miss you.
