Reagan

I'm hoping Reagan doesn't read this until after Saturday. 

[Reagan, if you're reading this - don't -  not until after Saturday]

I met Reagan my junior year of high school, she was a senior, we had photography class together, second block.

She and Courtney P. would make fun of me for finishing my rolls of film in class and using the flash. 

[it's funny how many of my friendships start out with stories like this]

We ended up having our darkroom days together, I would ask for help and they would help me. 

and so our friendship began.

 Five reasons why I'm glad Reagan is my friend

1. She says things how they are. [everyone is thinking it, but Reagan says it.]

2. She's just as sarcastic as I am.

3. I love every single one of her photographs [I try to photograph like her]

4. Her middle name is Symone [Raven Symone = best actress ever]

5. She's super creative.

Reagan turned 20 this past week, but I don't get to see her until Saturday, which is when I'll be giving her the gift I made her. [ok, it was partially Mitchell's idea - but I made it - so I get some credit]

The idea: Get photographs of Reagan and her closest friends and make a collage.

Trial 1: I wanted to make my own twist on it 

I didn't like it either. 

so i stopped.

Trial 2: Make the Glee Cover using my own style.

I love it. 

[and I hope Reagan does too]

Favorite memories with Reagan.

1. The time we stayed up super late, watching the meteor shower, and you introducing me to taking photos with sparklers [i still love doing that]

2. Our Darkroom Days [I will never forget them] - our songs - "feelin' good in the hood, nice in the ice, etc."

3. Feeding the squirrels. [We fed squirrels peanuts]

4. Our Christmas in July Parties

5. All the beach days, wii parties, and basically every other time we do something.

Reagan, you're an awesome friend - thank you for all the help you've given me, for all the memories we've made, and for all the friendship and fun you've brought into my life.
