Mitch Night.

Mitchell came to visit Gainesville this weekend. 

It was nice to have him here, see his friends, and meet new people. 

I haven't met any new people that I can call "friends", it's more of like a hello - goodbye sort of thing with most people. Because Mitchell is leaving for his mission THIS MONTH his friends decided to throw him a "Mitch Night" where instead of him baking a pie for everyone - everyone bakes a pie for him. [not everyone had to, just his other friend that likes baking pies]

The party was slow at first - I had so much homework - so I couldn't contribute to the event. But I did my math web-assign in the corner [what teacher assigns book work and online homework - it's called OVERKILL and it's unnecessary] but when i was done i was able to join the conversation and get the party started!

Mitchell's friend Chloe was the one who made us the pies - which were delicious [but Mitchell, you've got my vote 'til the end]. The first one was blueberry pina colada - which is my ALL TIME favorite. We listened to our favorite music while we waited for pie #2 [apple pie] to be prepared.

...and after the pie, things got a little crazy. [not THAT crazy, but like the we-don't-drink kind of crazy] So the music got a little louder, we got a little wilder, and our dance moves got a little exercise.

I know the photos make it look like we just sat and danced, but that's only because that's what we did for most of it - but during our favorite songs we [mostly me] got up and danced. 

We then decided to watch music videos, which led to watching [and singing] songs with lyrics, which led to Antoine Dodson and Tracy [our two favorite, most hilarious youtube videos ever]

Then it got late and we got tired - so we left. It was the night before our first football game so there were lots of people out getting prepared, but we made it home safely. 

Good luck Mitchell! If only you were going to Hogwarts before the MTC - then it really would be a dream come true.
