and so it begins.

This is blog post number one.
Though I've been told that my life is "so uninteresting'' that it doesn't deserve a blog,
I've chosen to do it anyway.
I'm an avid photographer
[i'm not serious about it, i just like taking photos]
and for the past year or so I've been overwhelmed
with photographs that i have no idea what to do with.
You see, when i was younger, my mom would push me and
my siblings to do crafts and create things [which i loved], but one of the things
she pushed us to do was scrapbook. It turns out, however,
that i was the only one to stick with it --- for a little bit too long, I would say.
[not that i'm ashamed of my books, i mean i have documentation
of almost my entire life - that's pretty cool, but it's time to move on].
So i am partially creating this blog in order to document my photographs.

my pride and glory, all 6 of them
The other reason is to use it as a creative output.
I'm going to college and i am so clueless as to what i should major in, it's not even funny.
Recently, i've narrowed it down to the two most opposite majors offered at the college:
Graphic Design and Physical Therapy?
I love creating - especially on photoshop
[i could spend all day on it --and have]
but i also want to have a career that is really going to help people,
i want a job where there is a demand.
For the time being, i've made up my mind - Physical Therapy
[even though it will cause me to have classes all day,
everyday of the week and a chem lab on friday nights -- vomit]
But i think it's what i really need to do.
So thats the other reason I'm creating the blog -
to use it as my creative output because I can't major in graphic design.

my boxes and boxes of photos. what do i do with them?
I'm excited to write and post and hope you don't find my life as uninteresting as others do.

  3. max, i remember when i was like 14 and driving in the car with cat doerr, and she had all these cool stories of things she's done and i thought "wow i dont have any stories like this..." but from high school to now SO much has happened...so much happens every day. i think a blog is a great idea. make sure to keep it up because i want to know all about college. and make sure to put photoshop on your lap top so you can continue to create while at school. love you!
